The 1998 Oyster 485 Center Cockpit - Pemaquid - is a beautiful example of a reliable and safe bluewater cruiser built by British luxury sailing yacht builder Oyster Yachts. With its Holman and Pye design she features a low freeboard, gentle sheerline, and balanced ends. Featuring a deck salon with eyebrow styling, and the now classic three cabin two head layout, the 485 is a sleek and comfortable world cruising yacht that is easily handled by a couple.
In production for a decade between 1992 and 2002, in which time thirty-six Oyster 485s were delivered, Pemaquid, named Arway originally, was first commissioned by Bob Crandall, CEO of American Airlines. Well cared for by all its owners, Pemaquid has been sailing with the current (and third) owners since 2016.
