Encore is the most exceptional 64 Ocean Alexander listed. Long term ownership and quality servicing has kept this yacht in top condition. The engine room floor and bilge show exactly how she left the factory! Encore is a very low hour opportunity to own arguably the best couples cruising boat to date. This is the biggest boat that most people can handle easily. When you have someone aboard to help it just changes the entire experience. There are definitely times when having someone along is helpful and even necessary, but it surely is nice to be an owner/operator.
Exceptional quality and engineering make the Ocean Alexander 64 the ultimate pilothouse in the 60-75' range. From its three staterooms that all have excellent accommodations (all adult berths), to the spaciousness of the galley, pilothouse and salon, there is no substitute. Naval Architect Ed Monk designed this for Ocean Alexander and this was a phenomenal success when new and continues to be a sought after model twenty years later.
The flybridge has room for six to eight with a beautiful table and comfortable helm seats; complete wet bar as well. The boat deck aft is very large. It is designed with safety and ease while loading and unloading toys and can be used for lounging or sunning when the dinghy is launched. The cockpit is large enough for fishing and just plain relaxing - perfect for "black coffee in the morning, dark whiskey in the evening"
There are four locations for serving hors d'oeuvres or meals; the pilothouse dinette, the flybridge settee, the salon dining area, and the cockpit for the alfresco experience.
The engine room, aka the man cave, is accessed via a stairway from the cockpit with fantastic space to get around the engines with protection of the stainless-steel safety rails. With air conditioning and fantastic lighting, it's a pretty comfortable space to spend some time!

This is a three stateroom vessel. The owner's stateroom has a full walk around queen berth. This is an actual standard queen; not a boat queen used by many manufacturers. To port is the ensuite with adult-size shower stall and is finished with granite flooring and countertops. It also features a 22" LCD TV on a power lift - newer TV bulkhead mounted, stereo, DVD and surround sound system. The VIP stateroom is forward and also features a queen bed, 22" LCD TV and stereo system with DVD. The secondary guest stateroom is to port and features side-by-side full twin berths with a 17" LCD TV. The two guest staterooms share a head, which features attractive granite flooring and countertops, Sealand vacuum (Magnum Opus) heads and large shower with glass doors. The staterooms are all high gloss bird's-eye maple with burlwood accent. The laundry is in the companionway outside the owner's stateroom. LED lighting has been implemented where practical.
The upper deck and companion ways are all high gloss teak with burlwood accent. There is abundant hanging lockers, cabinets and drawers in all three staterooms.
The galley is quite impressive and features plenty of counter space, cabinets, appliances and a custom China cabinet. The counters are all granite as is the flooring in the galley. All drawers and shelves are on roller bearing slides.

The saloon is very large and will seat twelve people comfortably. This area features an L-shaped settee and opposing love seat, a striking 40" teak table with a 12" leaf for dining or game playing. There is an LCD TV, stereo system with surround sound and a DVD player. There are phantom screens on all three doors; salon and both pilothouse doors. With the bridge door and the three other doors it offers plenty of fresh air if you'd rather have the air conditioning turned off. The windows have high gloss teak cornice boxes with blinds. The headliners throughout the boat are removable for convenience. This is a "no shoes" yacht and it shows! There is a central vacuum system throughout the boat.
The pilothouse features a stainless steel, ultra leather covered Stidd chair behind the artfully created Ocean Alexander helm. The dinette seating, also featuring a burlwood inlaid table, provides ample seating to be close to the activity in the galley and/or while underway. One is continually reminded of details only great design and fine craftsmanship that surrounds you aboard Encore. You can own a boat or you can own a yacht!

Keypower hydraulic system includes roll-fin stabilizers, bow and stern thrusters and windlass which are powered through dual PTO's, one on each engine. The bridge davit is also hydraulic but a separate system. The watermaker is a Filtration Concept 1500 GPD with a freshwater flush and remote. (Upgraded with special QUIET Pump). There is an oil transfer system for the engines, gears and generators. There is engine driven power steering making the steering effortless for manual use and also easy on the autopilot pump. The dual Racor filters have vacuum gauges and y-valves for the engines and generators. There is a fire suppression system in engine room and the lazarette. There is also a fuel polishing system. Rope lighting under the engines for show as well as abundant overhead lighting. There is an additional freezer in lazarette as well as spare parts for engines, gen sets and other equipment for extended cruising.
