When the words "raised pilothouse" are spoken, typically one thinks of Ocean Alexander and the popular 64 which combines sleek styling and first class accommodations. Introducing ROYAL CHINOOK. A fine example of this modern, high end luxury yacht. Un-like her " smaller sister" ( the 61 ) she features an eurostyle ( curved ) transom with port and starboard steps at the swim platform leading up and into the extended spacious cockpit. This along with her dual side boarding gates make getting aboard a breeze..
Built on a semi- V hull, nearly a full keel and with her optional Key Power stabilization, she's capable of handling the rugged waters of the Pacific Northwest with ease, comfort and safety.
Royal Chinook's lavish interior is an impressive blend of high gloss woodwork ( Burmese Teak ) designer fabrics and premium furnishings making this yacht a comfortable home away from home for her owners, family and friends.
Simply put, boarding Royal Chinook does not get any easier. Spacious cockpit can be boarded either by stepping onto the large swim platform and continuing up the euro curved stairway on either the port or starboard side of the transom. Additionally, there are port and starboard side boarding gates that offer boarding as well.
Once inside the cockpit, continue forward across the newly upgraded teak laid cockpit sole to the salon door. To port is an FRP cabinet with storage along with steps that connect with a ladder that leads up to the boat deck. Immediately to starboard is an additional FRP cabinet that offers access to the standup engine room.( Eliminates any crawling thru a crowded lazzerette ).In addition, a BBQ, built-in S/S sink with hot & cold water and ample storage below. Next to the cabinet is a locker housing one of two cockpit control stations.
Once inside the spacious salon, to port a built-in cabinet with TV flanked by two chairs followed by an additional built-in cabinet. Across to starboard an aft facing L-shaped cozy sofa that is fronted by a glass coffee table. Forward from the salon and up a couple of steps is the on deck galley and dinette followed by the center lined helm station. Pilothouse port and starboard doors offer easy access to the side decks for fender deployment and line handling.
The lower level with it's three staterooms and two heads is accessed via a stairway just off the starboard side of the pilothouse helm area. A gentle curved stairway leads to an aft midship full beam master with ensuite head. Forward to port, twin side by side single berths ( NO BUNKS!) Across to starboard a shared guest head. And ,a VIP cabin that would rival most other boat's master all the way forward .
The flybridge with it's upper deck, U - shaped dinette and boat deck for tender storage can be reached either by the teak stairs off the galley or from the cockpit!
