This O'Day 39 "Dark Star" is a great example of a Phillips Briand designed boat. It has excellent sailing capabilities and is a great blue water boat. Its design offers a large cockpit for daysailing and a spacious down below for weekend or extended cruising.
Dark Star features three cabins and two heads, with a convertible salon table that can be turned into a fourth berth. A privacy door can create a primary berth at the bow. This allows for cruising with multiple couples or extended family.
Built under license from Jeanneau. In France the boat is called a SUN FIZZ. Both companies at the time were owned by Bangor Punta. Later redesigned by Hunt Assoc. as the O'DAY 40.
The Company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel. A buyer should instruct his agents, or his surveyors, to investigate such details as the buyer desires validated. This vessel is offered subject to prior sale, price change, or withdrawal without notice.
