WILL ACCEPT CLEAN TRADES!
The Nordic Tugs “Hercules,” a “Millennial Edition” Nordic Tugs 42/44 Pilot House trawler was built during the prime construction years for Nordic Tugs and other builders, when volumes were relatively high and the market was vibrant. The later years after the 2001 “9/11” and the August 2008 financial contractions were plagued by slow growth, several years of very poor sales and many prominent boat builders suffering from a lack of sales volumes. “Hercules” was built during the peak production years prior to 2001 when Nordic Tugs was building its finest boats since the Company was founded in 1981. Because of slow production since 2001, it is difficult to find many new vintage Nordic Tugs on the market today, especially those over 40 feet, because the Company halted construction on larger models to focus on its mainstream 39/40 model. Looking for a 2008 to 2022 Nordic Tugs 42/44? You won’t find one!
Enter “Hercules, who’s owners have kept her in exceptional condition, especially her full teak interior, which has been unavailable in any Nordic Tugs model since 2013. It is difficult to find one of the quality, care and love that “Hercules” has received from her owners. With a price geared to sell rapidly by owners who are moving away from their Fort Lauderdale home, this is a unique opportunity. If you have ever dreamt of owning one of the premier 42/44 models of Nordic Tugs for an amazing price and in top condition, then waste no more time and give us a call to arrange a visit.
Nordic Tugs are known for their seaworthiness, comfort, stability, and efficiency. These traits are due to her unique hull design. The Company has been designing hulls since 1980, and they have refined semi-displacement hulls that are fast and fuel efficient. This has resulted in an incredible hull that provides a quiet, comfortable ride. With a single diesel engine, Nordic Tugs gives you the fuel economy of a displacement hull, with speeds far greater than a displacement hull can achieve.
Nordic Hull Characteristics:
A fine-entry bow provides a quiet dry ride in adverse weather conditions.
Her full keel improves tracking and reduces drift when maneuvering.
