Just reduced to $55,000 with a $5000 Electronics allowance offered with acceptable offer. SPERO is a well maintained 1987 Morgan Catalina Classic 41 sloop rigged sailing yacht. The OUT ISLAND 41 CLASSIC appeared after Morgan Yachts was purchased by Catalina. Also advertised as simply the MORGAN CLASSIC 41 it features a new deck and updated keel and rudder. It has been said that "Catalina Yachts made sailing's best idea even better."
Coming aboard the yacht you will find the large center cockpit with single level seating that comfortably seats up to 10 people. Down below provides an open and airy livability with teak bulkheads and a large main saloon. The 3 position dinette converts to a double berth. A settee and pilot berth add even more room for a comfortable and relaxing lounging and dining area.
Storage is abundant throughout behind and under the berths. There is ample shelving and numerous lockers, drawers and cabinets. The yacht features 3 large hanging lockers. There is also ample headroom at 6'3".
The Galley is a seaworthy U shape with overhead cabinets, a gimballed oven/stove, deep double basin stainless steel sink and large refrigeration/freezer area. The two well ventilated heads serve the 3 cabins. The forward head has a shower and 2 doors for private access from either the forward cabin or main saloon. The very spacious aft cabin features an ensuite head with separate shower and seat.
The current owner has replaced all the sanitation hoses.
Last haulout was completed June 2024 and a diver cleans the bottom every 3 months.
The Bimini top is fabricated of marine grade vinyl Sunbrella and the glass curtains are of Strata glass.
