This 2006 Monterey 298 SC is ready to hit the waves for fun in the sun with family and friends.
Twin Volvo Penta 5.0 OSI inboard/outboard motors with 270hp and less than 400 hours will take you where you want to go. There's a tow rope holder in the back for tubing and skiing.
The radio can be used from the back of the boat, helm, and galley to belt out the tunes. The Bimini provides ample shade while the sun pad is a great place to catch some rays.
The cockpit includes lots of seating, drink holders, a mini fridge, and a sink.
The boat was bottom painted and there is a Simpson-Lawrence electric windlass and a cockpit cover.
The cabin has an aft berth and a large V berth with bench seating that converts to a big bed. There are 5000 BTUs of AC to keep you cool when down below.
The galley has an electric stove, mini fridge, microwave, and a stainless steel sink. There's storage on the side and above the counter.
The head has a toilet with a foot pedal, a sink with a pull-out shower faucet, a toilet paper cover, and a mirror.

Condition
According to the seller, all mechanical and operational systems function as intended. The boat and bimini are in good condition. The gel coat looked good with a couple of scratches and some "dock rash", but nothing more than would be expected of a boat of this vintage. All seating looked good with no rips or tears, but all upholstery - as well as the boat in general - could use a good cleaning.
