The Mikelson 59 Nomad Long Range Cruising Sportfish is designed for Long-Range cruising at higher speeds. The Nomad is set apart from the rest of the "Long-Range" crowd because of her highly efficient mid-range cruising speed of 12-15 knots. Carrying 2,000+ gallons of fuel, and running on a highly efficient Tom Fexas hull, this yacht is able to reach destinations others only dream of.
Her custom accommodations include full-beam master stateroom, VIP guest stateroom, "bunk" guest stateroom, and a separate private aft crew stateroom. The split level Pilothouse/Salon area is comfortable and luxurious.
Cockpit with dual in-transom bait tanks and day head rivals the most serious of sportfishers, while the boat deck is large enough to carry a 16' tender, making her a great Mother-Ship for sportfishing.
In 2010 Mikelson Yachts introduced the "Open Salon" layout allowing the entire aft end of the salon to be opened to the cockpit, creating an incredibly feel.
The Nomad is available with an optional flybridge and/or 3' cockpit extension.
Standard power is twin 600hp Cummins. Alternative power options available.
