The 28' Express provides accommodations for four below with V-berths forward, a convertible dinette with galley opposite. The large cabin windows provide excellent cabin ventilation and natural lighting. On deck, the helm is weather protected on three sides and visibility is excellent in all directions. The cockpit, which is nearly 10' long, is large enough for entertaining guests. The side decks are wide for easy access around the boat in docking situations. With twin small block Chryslers, the Marinette 28 Express can cruise in the low 20's and reach a top speed of 30+ knots. Note that the 28 Fisherman built from 1981-89 is the same boat with a small flybridge.
