2002 Mainship 430 Trawler "Kumbaya" is a fine example of a well equipped, well maintained cruising vessel, capable of coastal cruising, the Great Loop (which she is a two time veteran), island hopping and beyond.
She has the popular, two stateroom (each with queen size bed), two head (each with walk-in shower), galley down layout. The enormous salon gives the feel of a comfy living room "back at home". A port and starboard side door and two rear facing sliding doors give easy access for line handling and getting up to the roomy flybridge. Add high gunwales and safety rails around the entire boat and you have a safe, comfortable, roomy home on the water.
While she can run at slower "trawler" speeds, the boat can cruise comfortably at 18-20 mph and has a top speed of low to mid 20 mph range if weather or schedule dictate faster travel.
Enormous amount of cabinet, locker, hanging locker, drawer and "racked" under-floor storage making her a viable long distance cruiser.
Some highlighted features and upgrades include:
- Twin Yanmar 440hp Turbo Diesel engines (P-3838hrs S-3808 and recently serviced)

Cons
Age-Related Wear: Being a 2002 model, some units may require updates or maintenance to systems such as electronics, plumbing, or engines.
Moderate Speed: As a displacement hull trawler, it has a modest cruising speed compared to faster motor yachts.
Limited Modern Amenities: Compared to newer models, it might lack some contemporary features or high-tech equipment.
