Red Bow V is a 2004 39' Mainship 390 trawler. She offers twin Yanmar 240 HP main engines, Kohler 8 kW generator, galvanic isolator, dripless shaft seals, oil change system, reverse cycle air conditioning/heating system, no exterior teak, molded-in steps from the aftdeck to the flybridge, a 2 stateroom layout and a lower helm with side door. Red Bow V is a Great Loop veteran and with her attainable 12'6" height above the waterline, she is a perfect candidate to complete any portion of the Great Loop again. Other than the salt water portion of the Great Loop, Red Bow V has been a fresh water boat.
From the fiberglass swimplatform, you enter the hardtop covered aftdeck via the transom gate and you can then walk out either side deck, step up the molded-in steps to the flybridge or walk into the salon via the sliding aluminum & glass door. Once inside the salon, you will find a sofa and ottoman with storage to starboard, entertainment and storage cabinetry port aft, galley port forward and the lower helm and side deck access door starboard forward. Walk forward and step down to find the head with enclosed shower to starboard, guest stateroom with side by side single size berths to port and the master stateroom with island queen size berth forward. Engine room access is via salon sole hatches.
The headroom in the salon is 6'4", 6'3" in the master stateroom, 6'4" in the guest stateroom, 6'7" in the shower, 7' on the aftdeck and 6'6" on the flybridge. The master stateroom berth is 6'6" long, the guest stateroom outboard berth is 7'3" long and the guest stateroom inboard berth is 6'4" long.
The height from the waterline to the top of the flybridge windscreen is 12'6", 15' to the top of the bimini, 17'6"" to the top of the anchor light and 18'9"" with the antenna up.
Red Bow V offers a master stateroom forward with an island queen size berth and ensuite head with enclosed shower; and a guest stateroom to port with side by side single size berths. There is access to the starboard head with enclosed shower from the companionway, in addition to directly from the master stateroom.
The salon offers a sofa and ottoman with storage to starboard, side deck access door starboard forward, entertainment/storage cabinetry port aft, sliding aluminum & glass door and screen door and curtain aft, vinyl teak & holly sole, opening center windshield, opening side windows with screens and curtains, storage cabinets, Insignia flat screen TV and engine room access.
The galley is port forward in the salon.

The lower helm is starboard forward in the salon and offers electronics as detailed in the electronics section of this presentation, Faria gauges, AFI windshield wipers (2024), engine controls, trim tab controls, anchor windlass control and a side deck access door.
The flybridge offers a bimini, Eisenglass enclosure, non-skid deck, benchseat with storage on each side, Garelick Eez-In helmseat, fold-up tables, electronics as detailed in the electronics section of this presentation, Faria gauges, engine controls, trim tab controls and anchor windlass control.
The sundeck offers molded-in steps to the aftdeck, stainless steel rails, non-skid deck, hinged mast, 2 deck chairs and a removable table and a Magma stainless steel BBQ grill.
The aftdeck offers a hardtop, SeaDek deck covering over a non-skid deck, lazarette and generator access, molded-in steps to the flybridge, side deck access, transom gate, transom storage, fold-down step for each side and a sliding aluminum & glass door to the salon.
