INTRODUCED IN 1978, THE MAINSHIP 34 IS ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR SMALL CRISERS EVER BUILT. SHE IS CONSTRUCTED ON A SOLID FIBERGLASS SEMI-DISPLACEMENT HULL WITH A DEEP FOREFOOT AND SLIGHTLY ROUNDED BILGES. SHE HAS A FULL LENGTH KEEL PROVIDING PROP PROTECTION AND GOOD TRACKING IN MOST SEAS. SHE ALSO HAS A BEAUTIFUL SALTY PROFILE. WITH HER SINGLE PERKINS DIESELSHE IS A TRUE FUEL-SIPPER BURNING LESS THEN 6 GPH AT 10-11 KNOTS. MOST 34'S WERE BUILT AS TRAWERS WITH A FLY BRIDGE HOWEVER THIS PARTICULAR BOAT WAS COMPLETELY RE-IMAGINED BY A PROFESSIONAL BOAT RESTORER AND CONVERTED TO A CUSTON SEDAN. THERE ARE NO OTHERS LKE HER.


"MAX" IS TRULY A RARE SEDAN STYLE CRUISER. SHE HAS A SINGLE STATEROOM FORWARD ON THE LOWER DECK, A LARGE ENCLOSED HEAD, A GALLEY AND A LARGE SALON. THE MASTER STATEROOM IS LOCATED FORWARD ON THE LOWER DECK AND FEATURES A LARGE DOUBLE V-BERTH WITH FILLER CUSHION.  THERE IS STORAGE UNDER THE BERTH AS WELL AS TWO HANGING LOCKERS, TWO OPENING PORTS AND AN OVERHEAD VENTILATION HATCH.  LOCATED AFT TO STARBOARD ON THE LOWER DECK IS THE HEAD WHICH HAS A VANITY WITH SINK, AN ELECTRIC MARINE TOILET, A STORAGE LOCKER, AN OPENING PORT AND ROOM FOR A SHOWER STALL WHICH THE SELLER CAN INSTALL IF WANTED.  THE LARGE SALON WHICH IS LOCATED UP THREE STEPS FEATURES PORT AND STARBOARD SETTEE'S WITH STORAGE BELOW AS WELL AS THE HELM WHICH IS LOCATED FORWARD TO STARBOARD.  THE ENTIRE CABIN HAS BEEN COMPLETELY REFURBISHED WITH CHERRY WOOD FLOORS, AN EXCUSITE WOOD SLAT HEADLINER AND ALL NEW CUSHIONS.  THE ENTIRE CABIN IS TRULY UNIQUE TO A BOAT OF THIS TYPE, VERY CLEAN AND WILL NOT DISAPPOINT.
