Just Listed! This 1997 Mainship 34 Aft Cabin is a very roomy, full-featured aft cabin motor yacht packed into a 34 foot hull. Notable features include a large flybridge with lots of seating, bow walkthrough windscreen to a large sun pad and a full canvas enclosure with bimini top. The aft deck features a full hardtop with sink and icemaker and full canvas enclosure as well. Powered by twin 340hp Marine Power inboards, she gets up and moves with a top speed of 30+ mph. This boat is in excellent condition and has been kept under cover in freshwater her whole life. With only 780 hours on the engines and less than 500 hours on the genny she is in "like new" condition and has many years of enjoyment ahead!
The salon is surprisingly large, with an L-shaped settee to starboard. The settee also has a huge storage area underneath that can easily hide all extras such as spare parts, blankets, pillow, etc. To port is a new comfortable recliner that swivels to face a desk where you can either navigate or work on a laptop. The valances, blinds, throw pillows and plush carpeting are all in great shape. The salon also features a flat-screen TV, a marine radio and stereo system.
The galley is only one step down from the salon level so it's still part of the salon/entertainment area. With hardwood flooring, the galley has large Corian countertops, a new Vitifrigo full-sized refrigerator/freezer, two-burner electric cooktop, new microwave, coffeemaker, and a full-sized sink with ample cabinet storage.
The master stateroom aft has a large berth to port with a padded headboard, huge hanging locker with double doors, and lots of drawers under the bed. The ensuite head is larger than what you'd expect and has a stall shower with glass doors, vanity, new Vacuflush toilet and Corian countertops.
The guest stateroom is forward with an angled double berth and includes two big hanging lockers. The guest head, which doubles as the day head, is equally spacious and has a stall shower with glass doors, vanity, new Vacuflush toilet and Corian countertops.
The Mainship 34 Motor Yacht has a very spacious and accommodating flybridge which utilizes a center console helm layout. With raised seats for three behind the helm and wrap-around seating encircling the bridge, the captain has a good view and guests can move around without disturbing anyone else. Custom VDO gauges, Morse single lever controls and Teleflex hydraulic steering are all top quality. There's ample space on the dash for electronics which include a full set of instrumentation, engine monitoring system, marine radio and a Hummingbird Helix 5 GPS/Chartplotter. One of the nicest features of this flybridge layout is the walk through windscreen that leads to the forward deck and large sunpad!
The engine room is readily accessible under three big salon hatches. The center hatch provides access to all the usual maintenance areas, including fuel filters, batteries and generator. The outer hatches are removable also for full access to both motors for those larger maintenance projects.
This Mainship 34 Motor Yacht is equipped with twin Marine Power 454 V8 gas engines that output 340 HP each. The Port engine has 779 hours on it and the Starboard engine has 784 hours. Velvet Drive transmissions round out the power system and provide smooth, quiet power to the props. The offshore electrical power is provided by a Westerbeke 7kw Generator that only has 490 hour on it. Both engines were tuned up in October of 2024 and both engines and the generator have recently been serviced with new filters and oil changes.
Recent updates include:
- All new Batteries (March 2025)
- Two new Webasto AC/Heat units (Oct 2024)
