This Magnum Sportfisher is built from an offshore racing hull so you know it's tough. Magnum's thick glass bottom is proof of her quality construction. Only a handful with this layout were built by Magnum, as most of their vessels are racing layouts. It has a very close to ideal 3:1 beam-to-length ratio. It has good electronics, and is set up nicely for the Northwest with her enclosed lower helm. Here is a superbly constructed offshore vessel and an amazing opportunity for discerning buyers. Representative of Magnum Marine's well-earned reputation for built-in value, this is a lot of boat for the money.
- Full suite of recent Simrad electronics on flybridge and lower helm: Plotter, radar, depth sounder, autopilot
- Custom Hardtop
- Cockpit Canvas
- Swim platform
- Large cockpit
- Rod holders
A chain locker is forward followed by a V-berth. Next aft is the galley followed by a dinette settee. A stacked berth is to port followed by the head and shower. Steps lead to the lower helm station with one captain’s chair and a large cockpit aft. A ladder leads to the flybridge. The flybridge has a fiberglass hard top and three captain’s chairs.
This hull was designed for a smooth and stable ride in all sea conditions. The 24 degree deadrise will blast through rough seas with ease. At seven knots, it burns fuel miserly while the deep-V hull provides a smooth ride. The utilitarian cockpit is well suited for the Northwest with her customization. You simply won't find a larger cockpit for fishing or entertaining in any other 35 foot boat. The sleek lines and styling make this classic a true eye-catcher. This rare boat is a must see!
