Antique boats take you back to a simpler time, clean lines and beautiful craftsmanship. This classic Lyman Hull# B1071 was purchased new from Pilot Knob Boat Shop on 3/25/1955. She has just undergone an extensive 600hr restoration, after having been found in a local barn for the last 20yrs. The bottom, side planks and transom have been completely gone through, with a replacement of 12 lapstrake bottom & side planks and a new Okume transom and transom frames. The entire bottom has been resealed and painted with 3 coats of copper bronze hard racing paint. The SeaFoam green hull sides have 5 coats of topside paint. The decks and transom have 12 coats of fresh varnish, as well as all the interior mahogany pieces.
The original Grey Marine Model 100 6cylinder engine has been completely rebuilt. 0 hours on rebuild. All wiring and accessories are also new.
Included in the sale are Lyman Certificate of Authenticity, original dealer paperwork, its original Bimini top, a newer custom fit Sunbrella cover and TeeNee custom fitted trailer.
