JouJou 2 is based on the most popular Luhrs 38 Open model, built with a 16 year production run thru 2007. which has been customized with an open checkbook and it shows!
Mabru Marine Systems has used her as a testbed for many of their innovations and marine systems, proving their viability and all these extra's come as a BONUS, when you buy this unique vessel.
Her layout is unlike any Express Sportfisherman in the world, both in terms of layout and accessibility.
Only the best materials and equipment have been used, which a personal inspection will immediately confirm.
It's a big feature-packed express fishing boat with a cutting- edge styling and tons of room. Heavily built on a modified V- hull with a flared bow and wide 14'11" beam.
She is a BIG 38 footer with cockpit- and cabin dimensions of a bigger boat. The custom helm position is to Starboard, allowing lots of room for guest to enjoy the deck, with tons of storage everywhere.
Other features include a bow pulpit, a Full Custom Hardtop with Webasto electric sunroof and full enclosures, built-in electronics display, trim tabs, raw water wash down, cockpit bolsters and transom door. The port and starboard tackle centers can double as bait watching seats, and the entire helm deck was customized to lift for ease of engine access.
Below deck an expansive salon with facing leather settees and teak and holly sole includes a full service galley with freezer to port, large head to starboard with separate stall shower, and a private master stateroom forward with a walk around queen bed.

- Cabin: SC07DC, 12v 7,000BTU air conditioner shared between helm and salon, SC09VI, 9,000BTU dual voltage variable capacity system for fwd cabin and salon.
Inverter:
- Magnum 3,100W modified sine wave inverter/charger which powers outlets and air conditioners.
Battery bank:
- 500ah LiFePO4 on STBD side and 1000AH LiFePO4 port side. Selector switch in cabin to choose which bank feeds the inverter and other house loads
Galley:
- Vitrifrigo DW180 drawer fridge freezer, Isotherm Cruise 65 fridge, Convection microwave
- All bilge spaces painted in AWL grip white
- Ice blue hull and matterhorn white deck in AWL Grip, professionally done by Cachi Marine
