Sunshine is a Mark Ellis designed 2003 34' Legacy Downeast express cruiser. She offers twin Cummins 330 HP main engines, Kohler 6 kW generator (2022), Mastervolt 2,000 watt inverter, Reverso oil change system, two 250 watt solar panels, Awlgrip painted hullsides, canvas over aluminum frame bimini covered cockpit, very wide side decks and an enclosed shower in the head. Sunshine is a Great Loop veteran and gives great flexibility for the Great Loop with her 10'2" air draft.
From the fiberglass swimplatform, you enter the canvas over aluminum frame bimini covered cockpit via the transom gate and you will find molded-in steps to each very wide side deck, lazarette access, under-deck storage and an aluminum & glass door to the salon. Once inside the salon, you will find an entertainment/storage cabinetry starboard aft, helm with helmseat and side deck access door starboard forward, L-shaped seating/storage/berth with a removable table port aft and a chart counter and drawer port forward. Walk forward and step down to find the galley to port and head with enclosed shower to starboard. Continue forward to the stateroom with an island queen size berth. Engine room access is via salon sole hatches.
The headroom in the salon is 6'2", 7'3" in the cockpit, 6'1" in the galley and 6'1" in the stateroom and shower. The stateroom berth is 6'2" long and the salon L-shaped seating convertible berth is 5'6" long.
The height from the waterline to the top of the Radar dome is 10'2".
Sunshine offers a stateroom forward with an island queen size berth. The salon port aft seating converts to a double size berth also. The head with enclosed shower is starboard forward across from the galley.
The salon offers a teak & holly sole, L-shaped seating/storage that converts to a double size berth with a removable table port aft, chart counter and drawer port forward, entertainment/storage cabinetry starboard aft, side deck access door starboard forward, shelves, 2 overhead hatches, opening side and aft windows with screens and curtains, reading light, aluminum & glass door to the cockpit and engine room access.
The down galley is port forward.

The stateroom is forward and offers an island queen size berth, hanging locker, cabinets, 2 portlights, overhead hatch, reading lights and a teak & holly sole. the head with enclosed shower is to starboard just aft of the stateroom.
The helm is starboard forward in the salon and offers a side deck access door, Todd helmseat, anchor windlass control, trim tabs controls, engine controls, Faria gauges, searchlight control and electronics as detailed in the electronics section of this presentation.
The cockpit offers a non-skid deck, canvas over aluminum frame bimini, transom gate, molded-in step to each side deck, benchseat/storage, sunscreen aft, lazarette access and an aluminum & glass door to the salon.
