This Legacy 40' Sedan Flybridge (MAKAI) is the cleanest and most well maintained on the market by far. The owner has spared no expense in pridefully caring for this vessel. It is powered by a 450 HP Cummins 6CTA-8.3 Diesel engine that was recently replaced (not rebuilt) and only has 400 hours on the new engine. All mechanical records for the repower are available. She cruises comfortably at roughly 10 knots and has a top speed on plane of 17 knots. Accommodations
Forward is the master stateroom with a walk around pedestal queen sized berth. There is a screened overhead hatch as well as two screened opening portlights to port and starboard. There are built-in nightstands and reading lights to both port and starboard in this cabin which offers a very symmetric layout for couples. A smart TV is mounted port side aft to enjoy your favorite programs while you relax in bed. There is a large shower stall starboard which offers entrances from both staterooms. To port there is a large head cabin with an upgraded Tecma freshwater head system and large vanity space with a sink. The head cabin has entrances through both the forward cabin as well as the hallway. The guest stateroom to starboard has an offset double berth which is very spacious. The galley area to port is situated aft of the head cabin and is extremely spacious. It has an abundance of storage throughout. The galley offers a new 12v Frigoboat refrigerator and freezer, a new microwave/convection oven/air fryer, as well as a newly upgraded Empava induction cooktop. There is ample space to work on meals in the galley on the well-appointed Corian countertops. The main salon area is a very spacious area as well with a settee aft to the starboard side with a large table that has folding butterfly leaves to create a larger surface. There is a full helm station to starboard with updated touchscreen electronics and control of all navigation instruments. Aft is a smart tv and entertainment system. The entire interior space is rich mahogany wood with teak and holly flooring throughout. The feeling of this vessel is truly timeless. The engine room is accessible through a large sole in the salon area and offers very easy access for service and checks. Wing doors on both sides of the main salon offer great access to the large deck walkarounds. There is also a door aft that leads to the aft deck area, this door has a phantom retractable screen which is a great feature.
