Herkee is a non-chartered, converted Lagoon 380 sailing catamaran. Since purchasing her in 2020, the current owners have repowered with new Yanmar 40hp engines and sail drives, added major solar/lithium power systems, and de-masted her creating a self-sufficient, "off-the-grid" power catamaran.
Benefits of the de-masting included a lower center of gravity reducing the crab walk found in rougher conditions on a sail cat, a 13' air draft, and cleaner decks without any rigging components.
Clocking over 1200 hours including three trips to the Southern Bahamas since her repower, Herkee has had continuous upgrades and is truly a turn-key, ready to cruise vessel.
