With the design of the Silhouette, naval architect James S. Krogen proved once again that understatement is the ultimate expression of elegance. Krogen, disciplined to the stringent demands of commercial design, adhered to the same tough criteria for his pleasure craft. There is no waste. No superficiality. A master merger of of tried and true seaworthiness with salty intuition and boundless imagination.
In a bold break from typical power cruiser design, the Silhouette combines speed and performance capabilities with features that promote and intimacy with the sea that is not only unusual, but also beautiful and exciting. Her look is aggressive, her comfort superb. Sleek and graceful, she plains the water effortlessly.
LAYOUT & ACCOMMODATIONS:
Once aboard from either side deck, two steps take you to the Control Deck which accommodates outside dining and comfortably allows guests to accompany the pilot when underway with its U-shaped settee, table and wet bar.
Living quarters below deck are bright with natural light through brand new windows and fresh sea breezes. Fine teak enriches the Silhouette's contemporary features and styling. The spacious amidships salon is well appointed with built-in breakfast bar, sofa and cabinetry.
Forward of the salon, the fully-equipped galley takes care of the chef's needs with ease. The deluxe service step-down Galley leaves nothing to be desired: Three burner stove, with added induction cooktop, convection microwave oven, refrigerator / freezer, double stainless steel sink and extensive cabinetry. A broad breakfast bar serves as divider.
Further forward guests are treated royally with a private, double-bed stateroom and adjacent shower and head.
Aft of the salon, the Owner's Stateroom aft is one of the true highlights of the vessel - this space is extremely roomy for a vessel in this size category. Here you are offered broad windows to starboard and sliding teak and glass doors that open wide to the private aft deck with unobstructed views. The amenities are complete with a walk-around double bed, vanity, private head with tub, abundant stowage and walk-in closet.
The well-sheltered Control Deck has high visibility, and is easily accessed from salon, side-decks, or the aft deck. This area doubles as a congenial lounge with U-shaped settee, folding leaf table and wet bar.
