This classic wraps you up in a very warm and inviting interior. Clean and cozy. Exceptional boat with a Sturdy design, keel-stepped mast, accessible chainplates, good sailing characteristics. Decks, paint, stainless steel, and hardware-to-deck are noticeably clean. . This yacht is a strong option if you are considering a seaworthy sailboat with performance. The wood cabin displays craftsmanship you don’t see these days. The aft quarter berth provides an excellent sea berth, in close proximity to the radio and companionway. The forward V-berth sleeps two comfortably or provides ample storage.
The starboard settee folds out to a double bed, and the table cleverly folds away into the forward bulkhead.
Functioning marine head and galley.
The Islander 32 MKII was one of the few models featured in the book by Gregg Nestor titled,
“Twenty affordable sailboats to take you anywhere”
The following is a quote...

“Under way the islander 32 MKII is a very nimble sailing boat.
It points quite high and balances well. The boat is a bit sluggish in light air, but can stand up to a blow. This no surprise, since the boat has a displacement water line ratio of 300. (Considered Heavy).
At about 20-25 knots, a reef in the main is required...
...this will balance the boat out nicely. The helm is responsive, and the boat is quick. The boat exhibits practically no weather helm. Although primarily used as a coastal cruiser, several Islander 32 MK II’s have completed impressive offshore passages, including circumnavigation."
This boat is in great shape and has had an owner who loved her, but it's time to pass her on.
