Hurricane is the leader in deck boats. Always innovators, the 260 Sun Deck is no exception. Fourteen riders can easily sit in the 260 SD. She is built primarily for fun. When skiing or tubing, she is powered with twin Suzuki 150 engines allowing everyone to go along.
Starting at the bow, a boarding ladder is concealed under a deck hatch. The wide, flaring bow offers increased space. The U-shaped seating has a step leading to the fore deck and has a molded, insulated ice chest below. There is plenty of stowage under the seats and in the locker built into the sole.
There is a boarding area cut into the port side that makes getting aboard easy for everyone. One of the best features of the boat is a handy table that hinges up from the console. There is netted storage, drink holders and a tackle locker under the gunnel.
The helm console is big and extends about of the width of the boat. A wrap around windshield protects the dual captain's chairs with flip-up bolsters.
Few day boats offer a real cabin. The berth is a bit small but will make a great spot for the kids to nap. There is really quiet a lot of room and a bi-fold door makes entry easy. There is a porta-potty for long days on the water.
