Above decks, the 44 Deck Salon was designed to offer easy handling and sailing. The cockpit features high coamings for comfortable seating under sail or dockside and a walk-thru transom for easy access to the dinghy davits and stern ladder. All lines lead aft to coach roof-mounted sheet stoppers and self-tailing winches. The main sheet and main halyard winch are electric. The genoa sheet winches are mounted aft next to the helm. The mainsheet traveler control lines are mounted off the arch for quick release and adjustment. All the lines are within easy reach of the helm for safe passage or single-handed sailing. The dodger, Bimini, and connector panel provide excellent protection from the elements. Wide side decks and well-placed handrails allow for safe easy passage while docking and anchoring. The electric anchor windlass, Mantus anchor, and double anchor roller make anchoring easy.
