The Hunter 376 is proof that a good boat design results when the builder listens to their customers! The boat was designed to address real world cruising requirements with a large comfortable cockpit, excellent engine access, corian countertops, aesthetically pleasing woodwork, book shelves, nice opening hatches & ports, a three burner stove & oven and so much more! The master stateroom is aft and features stand-up headroom in the forward portion of the cabin, cedar-lined hanging lockers and ample storage space. The comfortable cockpit is easily accessible from the large swim platform aft. The wide decks provide ample space to access the foredeck and large anchor locker forward.
"Tip-Top" is a fine example of this design. The present owner had the very same design in Hawaii that he enjoyed for eight years while he lived there and liked the design so much he purchased one here in Florida when family brought him back to this area. The boat was hauled out in the spring of 2025 and had new bottom paint applied, the hull detailed, the thru-hulls cleaned and serviced, added a new three blade prop and much more. In late 2024, an array of new B&G electronics and chartplotter were installed complete with Bluetooth in the cabin and at the helm station. In early 2024 a new mainsail was fitted on the boat to complement the two headsails. A new furling system was installed in 2024 along with a new house battery. The dependable Yanmar engine has enjoyed great care with regular service intervals and the addition of a new alternator, a new exhaust mixing elbow replaced and a new stuffing box and raw water strainer in lalte 2023. Other items that have been replaced and upgraded since 2023 include bilge pumps, AC pumps, depth transducer, head Y-valve, 42" smart TV, telescoping swim ladder and inverter. The boat is outfitted with a watermaker and other features that will appeal to 'off-the-grid' cruising sailors. All of the manuals are aboard and all USCG equipment is included with this fine vessel.
