In very nice condition, this open transom 26.5 Hunter is fast as she is attractive. We have been making progress in taking care of the general cosmetics of this 26.5 to include having installed New Trinidad Bottom paint to put the underbody in better condition than most any Hunter 26.5 in the country. This translates to not having a 3,000 to 6,000 issue pending. Nothing to do but go sailing and enjoy the boat.
Then the exterior. The sides and topsides have been cleaned and show well. Not that further polishing would not bring her up another notch, but she is attractive. Please see the photos.
The interior shows well as the cushions are attractive and the teak and holly cabin sole is in good shape and as there is no leaking of windows, etc., thus the fabric covered sidewalls are attractive as well. Please see the photos.
At the price shown the boat will have a new mainsail and the headsail will have her headsail's UV restitched with Tenara thread to give you years of addition use before needing attention. Further, she is Harken rollerfurler equipped for easy sail handling. And we will have the 9.9 Nissan purring before she leaves our yard.
She is fractionally rigged and with her 9' beam (not 8') along with her 1,800 lb keel giving her a 40% ballast ratio she has better than average stability which can make your first mate happy and yields better leverage on the sail plan thus she has more spirited performance. Fast is Fun and easier to sail.
