GREAT Family boat! Lots of room, Fun to sail, easy to rig, and light weight to tow are just some of the reasons why people love the Hunter 170. With its easy to rig mast, you can be out on the water in 20 minutes from tied down to launching ramp. Once on the water, the boat is powerful, but not overpowered. It sails easily and gives everyone the joy of sailing.
She includes a Harken rollerfurler jib set up, kick up rudder for beaching, and uniquely has custom cockpit seats. Additionally, this boat @ the 5,200 price includes a gorgeous new looking HONDA 2.3 four stroke outboard. And compared to many of the Hunter 170's out there, this hull has a minimum of cracks/crazings in the plastic hull and is VERY serviceable and terribly cosmetically challenged as some of the Hunter 170's become. Rooke Sails was a Hunter dealer in years past and sold many a Hunter 170 new and pre-sailed thus have knowledge to pass on to you.
A lively performer, lightly used Hunter 170 is a great way to get the family involved in sailing for a minimal investment! Probably the best bang for the buck that you can get in a manageable family daysailor with a serviceable very roadworthy galvanized trailer. Just a great blend of features.
She also includes a full deck cover made from Sunbrella and to top that off she has what looks like to be a newish Honda 2.3 long shaft outboard. This boat is a value ! !
So what are you waiting for. Give us a call and bring virtually any family car with a 2" ball and tow this great boat home and get on with your sailing pleasure! Time to start making memories ! !
