The Ultimate Fishing Mothership - Luxury, Tournament-Ready, and Priced to Move Under $2 Million
If you're looking for a true hybrid that can run with the big sportfish fleet by day and deliver superyacht comfort by night, Belisarius is one of the rarest finds on the market. This factory-custom 2001 Horizon 92' was built from the keel up as a cockpit skylounge sportfish. She gives you a massive tournament-grade fishing cockpit, a climate-controlled enclosed skylounge, long-range CAT power, and every modern comfort, all while serving as the perfect mothership for a center-console tender on the hip.
Whether you want a private offshore fishing machine for the family or a turn-key charter platform that prints money, this boat delivers both worlds at a fraction of what a new build would cost. Under $2 million you get a nearly 100-foot vessel with twin generators, stabilizers, bow & stern thrusters, a new watermaker, and a layout that sleeps 8-10 owners/guests plus crew - all in absolute privacy.
Highlights
- Massive Fishing Cockpit with fighting chair, huge live wells, fish boxes, ice chipper, rod storage, outriggers, and half-tower steering - rivals any dedicated sportfish
- Twin Caterpillar 3412 Engines (1,400 hp each) - still considered one of the best power packages ever put in a yacht
- Twin Northern Lights Generators - rare full redundancy most boats this size don't have
- ABT-TRAC Stabilizers, bow & stern thrusters for effortless handling
- Huge Country Kitchen/Galley with newer KitchenAid appliances (2021), granite counters, and oversized dinette
- 4 Staterooms (full-beam master) / 4 Ensuite Heads plus a convenient day head (5th head) on the aft deck right by the dining table - a huge bonus for guests enjoying al fresco drinks or meals without going inside
- Separate Crew Quarters aft (sleeps 3-4) with full-size captain's cabin, bunk room, head, and high-volume washer/dryer - complete owner/crew privacy
- Enclosed Climate-Controlled Skylounge + large open aft bridge deck with custom stainless propane grill, EZ 2000 hydraulic davit, and 12' Yamaha Tender
- Full Walk-Around Deep Gunnels with easy boarding ladder - exceptionally safe for kids, elderly, or anyone
- New Watermaker, 4,000-gallon fuel capacity, and recent updates throughout
Belisarius is the perfect adventure yacht: fish hard offshore, then relax in total luxury. She's versatile, bullet-proof, and represents tremendous value in today's market.

Cockpit & Fishing Platform
Step aboard the tournament-ready cockpit and you immediately feel the serious fishing DNA. You’ll find a fighting chair, oversized live wells, fish boxes, ice chipper, abundant rod holders, and easy engine-room access through cockpit hatches. The deep, walk-around gunnels and wide side decks make moving around safe and simple in any sea. From here you can also access the crew quarters and engine room without disturbing the owner areas.
Aft Deck & Bridge Deck
Walk up a few steps to the spacious aft deck with molded U-shaped seating around a high-gloss teak table — perfect for al fresco dining. The rare day head (5th head) right here by the dining table is a huge bonus — incredibly convenient for guests enjoying the cockpit or bridge deck without having to go inside. A molded spiral staircase leads to the upper bridge deck, where you’ll find a large custom stainless propane grill, plenty of seating, and the EZ 2000 hydraulic davit with the 12' Yamaha tender.
Main Salon & Galley
Forward on the main deck is a bright, social salon with oversized seating to starboard, a game/dining table to port, and a large flat-screen TV. The country kitchen galley is enormous, featuring granite counters, newer KitchenAid appliances (2021), massive storage, and a huge dinette. Pantographic doors port and starboard give direct access to the side decks for easy line handling or crew service.
Lower Accommodations
A staircase to port leads down to the four-stateroom each with a private ensuite. All staterooms are beautifully finished in high-gloss cherry wood with excellent storage.
- Full-beam master aft with sitting area, cedar-lined closet, and a unique step-down head with his-and-her sinks.
- VIP forward with island queen berth and ensuite head.
- Guest 1 with full-size berth plus overhead bunk and ensuite.
- Guest 2 with criss-cross over/under singles and ensuite head.
Skylounge & Enclosed Helm
A starboard staircase from the galley leads up to the fully enclosed, climate-controlled skylounge/helm. The helm features updated Furuno electronics. Aft in the skylounge is comfortable seating and a large sliding door to the open bridge deck.
Crew Quarters & Engine Room
Accessed from the salon or cockpit, the separate crew area offers a full-size captain’s cabin, bunk room for 2–3 more, shared head, high-volume washer/dryer, and extra refrigeration. A watertight door leads into the spotless engine room housing the twin CAT 3412s, twin Northern Lights generators, and all ship systems — everything is clean, well-maintained, and easy to service.
Belisarius is turn-key, exceptionally versatile, and ready for her next adventure — whether that’s private family fishing trips or a profitable charter program.
