VERONICA is an exact replica of the original N.G. Herreshoff 12.5 footer from 1914. Very well constructed for a wealthy customer in the 80's, it has a cedar plank on oak frame hull with varnished oak trim and seats. It has teak floorboards, varnished spruce spars, bz hardware, very new sails, and brand new spinnaker. It comes with full mooring cover and jib cover, both in Toast Sunbrella. These boats are noted for excellent sailing characteristics, speed, comfort, seaworthiness, and safety. This is a very handsome full keel Marconi sloop in which the hull shape, usage of interior space, and the rig exemplify all the qualities of fine design. She "moves through the water like a little ship", solid, easy going, and spacious for her size.
VERONICA is a lightly used Marconi rigged boat with excellent Bohndell sails. She comes with aluminum spinnaker pole, spinnaker turning blocks in the coaming, spinnaker sheet cam cleats on the aft seat, tiller extension, varnished Shaw and Tenney oars, varnished spruce spars, natural gray teak floor boards, varnished oak trim, Harken stand-up main sheet ratchet block on the sole, full mooring cover and jib cover. She has Gilder Green topsides and buff decks.
