Almost 7 years ago, Mike, Captain Kelly and I checked out every 65' - 70' Hatteras available in North America...and this one was by far the nicest around. She was on Spring Lake, Michigan, very well maintained, ran beautifully, looked great (as a fresh water yacht should) and surveyed spectacularly! Within weeks, Mike and Captain Kelly were cruising from Michigan to Key West.
HAVANA MOON cruised effortlessly for almost 3 months (they went slow to smell roses) and arrived in Key West, where they upgraded her to legitimately (Coast Guard approved) carry 12 passengers, They have successfully owned and operated her there ever since. She is a "Charter Yacht", but Captain Kelly and Mike have managed and operated HAVANA MOON since day 1 and, as result, have kept her in near pristine mechanical and cosmetic condition.
