The Hatteras 54 Convertible replaced the popular 55 Convertible in the Hatteras fleet in 1991. A distinctive boat with the aggressive profile common to all Hatteras convertibles of her era, the 54 is heavily built on a modified-V hull with a wide 17'4" beam and a relatively deep keel. Her three-stateroom interior features a diagonal galley forward to port in the salon with a built-in dinette opposite, an innovative layout that opens up the salon and adds considerable living and entertaining space.
