"Concrete Idea", a Hatteras 48 Long Range Cruiser, is ready for new adventures! Highly sought after and a rare find, she is a legacy member of the well-received Hatteras LRC trawler line. Tried and true, these models set the golden standard for future LRC trawlers.
"Concrete Idea" has been well maintained by the current owner, with a recently repainted deck, upgraded flooring on the soles of the master and guest cabin, newer AC units in the salon and master Stateroom, and all new (2024) house batteries. Built for long range ocean cruising as well as coastal, her hull is solid fiberglass. Her first owners were from Virginia, and after they sold her the second owners kept her on the Great Lakes for 30 years. During that time, she only spent 3 to 4 months a year cruising, all in freshwater, and was stored safely for the winter months in climate controlled indoor storage. She was purchased by the current owners in 2013 and has spent the years cruising the East Coast and the Bahamas. She is ready to take off today and won't last long!
