2007 Hanse 370e Full Details
- Lt Grey Awlgrip painted hull with white waterline & white transom (new 2010)
- Bulkheads laminated to hull and deck
- GRP strongback
- Option on this Hull: Hull built with prepreg fibreglass fabrics in EPOXY, vacuum bagged with CorecellTM foam, postcured
Advantages of Epoxy as compared to other less expensive synthetic resins
1) Epoxy is able to withstand greater stresses and therefore makes for stronger hull and decks
2) Your Hanse'd composite hull is composed of fiberglass cloth and epoxy resins
3) Epoxy absorbs considerably less moisture than traditional resins - virtually eliminating Osmosis and Blistering
4) Epoxy is far less susceptible to fatigue or microcracking and will maintain the value of your Hanse for a long time to come
5) The much more stable Epoxy resins enable Hanse to build a boats that are up to 20% lighter than boats build using other resins
6) The hulls are hand laminated and cured under vacuum conditions
