Other
With a waterline of 31'6" and a sail area of nearly 700 square feet, the Hanse 350 has excellent performance, even in light winds.
Below decks, creative interior design provides an open and airy feel plus a large dining area and a spacious galley. In addition, there are three separate sleeping cabins!
Redfish Bluefish has been a California and Oregon boat before coming Puget Sound. She has been well cared for each step of the way and remains a very modern and exceptionally clean cruiser racer.
Redfish Bluefish represents an excellent opportunity to have the performance of one of the premier design offices in the world in a modern, well-maintained package.
- 3-cabin layout
- Self-tacking headsail
- Low engine hours
- Water heater
- Great ventilation
Interior Accommodations
The Hanse 350 is an extraordinarily large-feeling 35-footer. Redfish Bluefish has had up to 11 people sitting in the salon playing a board game. The long table, opposite settee and adjacent galley create a comfortable atmosphere for life at the dock or anchor. A modestly sized chart table is to port with the electrical panels and radios.
In the bow there is a large V-berth with a 3-shelf locker and separate cabinet and hanging locker. There is also separate access to the head, a feature seldom seen on a boat this size.
The head is situated to port and features a shower and aft-facing toilet, plus ample cabinet space for toiletries.
The starboard aft cabin features a large double berth, with a shelf outboard plus a hanging locker and shelved cabinet. The port aft cabin has been dedicated to storage on Redfish Bluefish but could easily be converted back into a large one or smaller two-person sleeping cabin with the addition of a mattress. It too has a shelf, hanging locker and cabinet.

Deck and Hull
The cockit and deck on the Hanse is set up for easy sailing. With a relatively large main and non-overlapping headsail, tacking can be a simple matter of putting the helm over. All halyards and reefing lines are led aft, so there is little reason for crew to go forward.
There are a couple of unique features. The port cockpit seat opens up into the aft port cabin, so that if that cabin is used for storage, as it is on Redfish Bluefish, there is access from on deck.
The other unique feature is the barney post in the cockpit for the mainsheet. The leverage and location of the mainsheet makes adjusting it much easier, while removing the complexities of the traveler. The lack of a traveler has little effect for the cruising sailor's mainsail trim. The system could revert to the traveler easily if so desired.
On deck movement is simple and secure with no significant steps and large flat surfaces.
