Condition detail
The owners have lived on this vessel for over 2 years. It is evident that it has been very well taken care of. The engine's in good shape, the owner confirms. Some electrical work needs to be done under cabinets where the circuits are. The Garmin plotter might need the connections cleaned. The depth finder might not work The mast has been rebuilt. The standing rigging is great. Although there are a couple of ACs, they are nonfunctional - old style refrigerants style. Probably would be more feasible to replace them than get them upgraded. Generator (diesel) does not output and might need some attention, maybe the breaker. This vessel is smoke free but not pet free. The owners have taken great care in maintaining this beauty. It has 3 non-working furlers. It's a power boat with masts. None of the navigation systems works (from previous showing) The oven door latch will need to be fabricated as the original parts are no longer available on the market. In addition, the gas delivery system for the oven is LEAKY and will need to be inspected and repaired BEFORE USE as it is currently a fire hazard. From seller: The Electronics are somewhat dated and again suffering from neglect. I was able to get the plotter to work on the helm by disconnecting and connecting the main connector for the display in the binnacle but a good connector cleaning and contact treatment would do wonders for the current gauges and dials at the helm. The electronics at the nav station all appear to be working but need adjustment. Some of the electronic controls for the charging system and the engine will need to be examined/repaired if needed. The last I knew the vhf radio worked well. The entire electrical control panel will need to be checked out as the wiring is 45 years old and of unknown quality after several different owners. All marker and navigation lights will need to be examined/repaired.     The repair to the Step of the Main Mast that was done by Zern Rigging in Pensacola was "completed" over a year ago. (message from seller Oct 2025) Buyer asked: What kind of tension does the rigging need? From the seller: To tension a shroud, first ensure the mast is centered and then tighten the appropriate turnbuckle or fitting, typically counter-clockwise, until the desired tension is reached, which can be measured with a tension gauge or by ensuring the leeward shrouds remain snug when sailing. Start with the cap shrouds tight and adjust lower shrouds so the mast remains straight and the leeward shrouds don't get slack when on a windward tack.
