The Grand Banks 36 Classic is one of the most popular trawlers built for a couple cruising, visiting the Caribbean, exploring Maine, or doing "the Loop". Leilani is ready to go, just add your gear and provisions and follow the dream as the current owners have done. New fuel tanks and a new Deck for the Fly Bridge are 2 of the recent improvements made. Check out the FULL listing for more details or contact the broker asap. This is a wonderful opportunity to get a genuinely nice well-maintained G-B 36 at a very reasonable price.
"Leilani" is a Hawaiian name meaning "heavenly garland of flowers" or "royal child". A beautiful name for a beautiful boat. A 1981 Grand Bank 36 that has been meticulously maintained and enjoyed by the current owners (approximately 15 years). She is in turnkey condition in South Carolina for the winter but could easily be ready to go to the Caribbean, the Keys, Maine, or do "The Loop" with your gear and provisions. Leilan has completed "The Loop" and the owners have a slide show to prove it. The classic 3 cabin Trawler layout has a large master cabin aft, Main Cabin with dining/lounge area, galley, Main Helm Station in the middle, and Forward Guest Cabin with its own head. Easy access to the Fly Bridge, by stepping easily onto the aft cabin top and then a couple more steps onto the new Fly Bridge Deck (Replaced last year in 2025). The fly bridge has a bimini cover that can be enclosed or lowered for low bridge clearance (the mast also has a hinge and can be lowered). Leilani has very dependable twin Ford Lehman Model 2715E engines, an 8KW Onan Generator, and a 10' Avon Rib Dinghy with a 9.9 hp Yamaha outboard. All three cabins have lots of storage spaces and the galley storage is subsidized by a large Frigibar 110 Cooler that when charged regularly can hold a weeks' worth of groceries. Leilani is the ideal boat for a couple looking to go cruising and is PRICED TO SELL. For more information read the full listing.
