Shari is a David Pedrick designed, Tilottson-Pearson built 1995 40' Freedom 40/40. She offers a Yanmar 47 HP auxiliary, Freedom 2,500 watt inverter, Balmar 170 amp alternator, reverse cycle air conditioning/heating system, composite mast and aluminum boom, Mack Sails Mainsail stack pack, Harken roller furler, traveler and winches, sugar scoop transom and pass-thru, 2 stateroom 2 head layout with the aft head including an enclosed shower.
From the fiberglass swimplatform, you step up through the transom pass-thru into the cockpit and find seating and storage on each side and aft, helm pedestal and bimini & dodger. She offers wide side decks and clutter-free decks. Walk forward and step down through the companionway into the salon and you will find a stateroom with a queen size berth port aft, galley to port, l-shaped seating with storage port forward, folding fold-up table forward, head with enclosed shower starboard aft, nav station to starboard and a benchseat with storage starboard forward. Continue forward to find a stateroom with v-berth and insert and ensuite head forward. Auxiliary access is via removing the companionway stairs.
The headroom in the salon is 6'4", 6'3" in the forward stateroom and head, 6'5" in the aft head-shower and 6'4" in the aft stateroom. the aft stateroom berth is 6'8", the forward stateroom berths are 6'3", the salon port seating/berth is 6'4" long and the starboard benchseat/berth is 6'6" long.
Shari offers a stateroom forward with a v-berth and insert, a stateroom aft with a queen size berth; and the salon offers convertible seating double size berth and a single size benchseat/berth to starboard. The forward stateroom has an enclosed head and the aft head includes an enclosed shower.
The salon offers a folding, fold-up table forward, teak & holly sole, L-shaped seating with storage that converts into a double size berth port forward, benchseat with storage to starboard, shelves, cabinets, fans, 7 portlights with shades, 2 overhead hatches with screens, 2 overhead windows, reading lights, Hitachi flat screen TV, Sony stereo, nav station and auxiliary access.
The galley is located to port in the salon.
