In the cockpit, the V338 seating includes a dual helm with flip-up bolsters, map pockets, port curved lounge and U-shape stern seating with fill-in cushion. Maximizing the space, a refreshment center features solid surface countertops, sink, beverage holders, a refrigerator or ice maker, and a trash receptacle. A removable table provides ample serving space, and is available with a solid wood top for added beauty and durability. A cable TV outlet is included and especially useful when boaters select the optional cockpit TV. Of course, seats feature Aquaflex vinyl, tops in marine-grade upholstery, and the cockpit includes marine carpet over a fiberglass liner. Optional navigation packages are available, such as the Raymarine VHF C80 package, including a depth sounder, chart plotter, radar, and SIRIUS Satellite Marine Weather radio. An additional navigation upgrade is available with an E80 display. The updated dash includes a lighter gel coat color, plus a new charcoal finish as the backdrop for controls. Polished bezels highlight a comprehensive series of Faria gauges, tachometer with hour meter and a compass to guide the way. The lenses in these gauges are specially coated to resist fogging and condensation. And for utmost safety precautions, a gas vapor detector gauge is standard. When the dash is not in use, Four Winns provides a canvas helm cover. Trim tabs are included, plus windshield wipers at port and starboard are standard. Entry to the cabin is via a sliding acrylic door that includes a built-in screen. The floor plan features a forward island berth with an innerspring mattress and fitted sheets included, overhead lighting and plenty of space for changing, along with an aft settee and table that convert to a roomy double berth. An ample dinette with room to seat four comfortably is located near the well-appointed galley. Storage abounds with cedar-lined hanging lockers in the V berth, under dinette seats, and in cabinets above the dinette. The galley’s coffee maker with stainless steel carafe tucks neatly in its own storage area. A solid surface countertop is integrated with the sink, sink cover and cutting board. Microwave, refrigerator, two-burner electric stove, a trash receptacle, and power outlets for small appliances are all served up neatly in the galley. Flooring in the galley area is beautiful teak and holly for easy clean-up. A flat screen TV/DVD player is positioned above the stove, opposite the main cabin couch. Cabinetry is finished in a rich, cherry woodgrain laminate with a high gloss protective coating. Among the noteworthy interior standard features is a 12,000 BTU air conditioning/ heating unit, and factory-installed carbon monoxide monitors for peace of mind while sleeping.

The V338 is available with a choice of several powerful engines. Volvo Penta stern drive power ranges from Twin 5.0 GXi/DP 270 HP to Twin 5.7 OSXi/XDP 320 HP. Volvo Penta engines include electronic shift. MerCruiser stern drive power is available from Twin 5.0 MPI/Bravo III 260 HP to Twin MX 6.2 Bravo III 320 HP. MerCruiser engines include digital throttle and shift.
