Still one of the best high-performance center consoles on the water, the Fountain 38 is a fast-action fishing machine designed for anglers who want to get where the fish are, regardless of the weather. This was Fountain's largest fishing boat when she came out in 2001 and there's no mistaking her race-boat pedigree. The 38CC rides on a slender deep-V hull with twin ventilating steps and Fountain's signature notched transom and pad keel. Inside, a large U-shaped bow seating area provides space for carry-ons under the cushions. Protective coaming panels are a plus while fighting fish, and the 38CC can be equipped with a starboard-side dive door. There are seven in-deck fish-boxes and the transom holds a 50-gallon live-well. The console head compartment contains a VacuFlush toilet, sink and shower. Additional features include a standard T-top with radio box, transom workstation, pop-up cleats, and a large anchor locker. A fast ride, triple 300hp Mercury Verado Outboards cruise at 35 knots and reach over 60 knots wide open.
