The 27 Fever was designed to open the door to the first time high performance boat buyer, by keeping the high performance boat building standards on a 27-foot hull. Fountain has designed the Fever so the novice boater can get his feet wet in the race boat market without drowning in the cost.
When standing or sitting at the helm the 27 Fever is designed with a wraparound windscreen which allows for good 360 visibility thus creating a very high comfort zone when handling this boat. The driver's seat combined with the controls, steering wheel and instrumentation cluster are within easy reach and eye sight, but remember this is a race boat design so everything is close for quick and easy access. The rest of the cockpit layout is very comfortable, with a three person bench seat just in front of a large sun pad which happens to be the engine hatch.
