The FT-10 is a club racer or day-sailor that is easy to sail and fun to race. With comfortable cushions and spacious berths, makes racing fun for the whole family and friends. Wild Thing has a spacious open cockpit with a bowsprit for flying an asymmetrical spinnaker allowing downwind surfing for the competitive racer. We mounted the backstay and traveler sheet lines forward for easy access for the trimer. Recently the centerboard, cassette, and rudder have been feathered and flared for peak performance. She has a custom two axel trailer which has been completely updated and ready for the road. Easy to pull with new brakes/hubs, tires (5 new tires) wiring, and receiver, it's ready for the next Regatta, in or out of state. We ramp launch it off trailer which makes it very simple and lift the mast with our gen-pole which can save thousands of dollars a year when traveling to different Regattas...
Designed by legendary Naval architect Robert Perrywith input from racers around the world. Wild Thing is hull #110 and has sail USA 41. She has a carbon fiber mast, sprit and boom with a roller furling jib allowing for double-handling racing/sailing.
Wild Thing is ready right now with an ORCI Offshore Racing Certificate (Triple Number All Purpose Low: 0.9389, All Medium Purpose: 1.1591, All Purpose High: 1.3021) She's fully equipped for ORC events, or PHRF 54 buoy racing. Great family fun in the ocean or lake!
