=============================
If you are looking for the perfect Great Loop Cruiser, island hopper or even a powercat for cruising around your local waters, you have found it!!
This Endeavour Trawler Cat is a 36' boat with a 15' beam. This gives a very large living space for entertaining friends and family, but unlike some wider catamarans, it fits into most marina slips.
There are three queen-size staterooms and nice sized salon and cockpit areas. A full-size galley is in the port hull and open to the complete interior. A large head with separate shower is in the starboard hull next to the starboard guest stateroom. A 5kw Northern Lights generator replaced the original one and has low hours.
The helm station provides great 360degree visibility and is fully enclosed with glass windshields forward with windshield wipers, and with canvas panels with full enclosure and screen windows aft.
Twin Yanmar 4 cylinder 125hp diesel engines allow cruising at 8-14 knots. The hull also has Trim Tabs to improve the balanced ride. An economical cruising speed is 8 knots which burns only 2 gallons per hour.
This boat is perfect for cruising America's Great Loop or cruising the islands of the Bahamas.

The Biggest Pros and Cons
The 2003 Endeavour 36 TrawlerCat offers a unique blend of trawler practicality and catamaran stability, making it an appealing choice for cruisers seeking comfort and efficiency. Here are some pros and cons to consider:
Pros
Stable and Spacious: The catamaran hull design provides exceptional stability underway and at anchor, along with increased living space compared to monohull trawlers of similar length.
Fuel Efficiency: The lightweight construction and twin engines contribute to better fuel economy, allowing for longer range cruising.
Shallow Draft: With a shallow draft, the Endeavour 36 can access shallower waters and anchorages that deeper draft vessels cannot reach.
Comfortable Accommodations: The layout offers comfortable cabins and ample salon space, ideal for extended cruising or liveaboard situations.
Good Visibility: Elevated pilothouse design ensures excellent visibility for maneuvering and navigation.
Robust Construction: Built with durable materials suitable for offshore passages and long-term use.
Cons
Limited Speed: As a trawler-style catamaran, the Endeavour 36 is designed for efficiency rather than speed, so it may not satisfy those looking for faster passages.
Twin Engine Maintenance: While twin engines provide redundancy, they also mean higher maintenance costs and more complex mechanical upkeep.
Availability of Parts: Given its specific design and production run, sourcing replacement parts or specialized service may be more challenging compared to more common models.
Initial Cost: The combination of catamaran stability and trawler features can come at a premium price point both in purchase and upkeep.
Maneuvering in Tight Spaces: Although stable, the wide beam typical of catamarans can make docking and maneuvering in crowded marinas more challenging.
Made For
The 2003 Endeavour 36 TrawlerCat is ideal for sailors and cruisers seeking a spacious, stable, and comfortable vessel for extended voyages. Its catamaran design offers exceptional stability and ample living space, making it perfect for families, liveaboards, or those looking to explore coastal and offshore waters with ease.
