The 2020 Eastern 27 Islander. A stunning Downeast vessel that combines elegance, simplicity and performance. Powered by twin Yamaha F150 outboards, it boasts a cruising speed of 22 knots and a maximum speed of 34 knots. The Islander features a well-designed layout with one cabin, one head, additional sleeping quarters for two, and plenty of room for entertaining. Walk-through transom door port to cockpit with bench seat with Sunbrella cushions. Moving forward along the weather decks there are composite handrails on the cabin roof and the coach roof. Stainless Steel rails wrap around the bow. On the bow is an electric windlass and stainless steel bow cleats with chocks, and along the weather decks are stainless steel midship cleats port and starboard. Moving back into the cockpit is a cooler with Sunbrella cushion for extra seating.
Entering the pilot house, a wet bar with sink and fridge is to starboard. Forward to starboard is the helm station with a suite of electronics, throttle controls, helm seat and a forward opening windscreen. The copilot station is to port with a plush two-person bench seat with foot rests and storage below. The dinette is behind with a bench seat and removable table.
Port of the copilot station is the companionway to the cabin. The cabin features a V-berth with infill (with an optional 6" memory foam mattress) as well as a dinette table. Aft and to port is a counter with storage below. The head with toilet, sink, shower and vanity is to starboard. A second mid-ship bunk which can accommodate two persons is aft.
Both the cabin and pilot house are kept comfortable with the optional 10,000 BTU AC/Heat system
