Yanmar 4LHA-STE 169 kW Diesel with recently installed transmission. Routine and necessary maintenance has been done by local mechanic Chris Oliver with just over 1000 hours (not the original) the engine starts immediately with minimal engine noise and smoke meeting the basic requirements for a healthy diesel engine.
There are many different configurations for a Dyer 29. "Bellevue" is exceptional with 3 major factors.
First, she has a HARD TOP which gives you protection from the elements when cruising or storing the boat for the winter, good secure hand holds for going forward and aft, and a place to run wiring and mounting equipment above (search light, GPS antenna, ventilation hatches, horn, and other accessories).
Second, she has no engine box in the cockpit. With a beautiful flush teak deck in excellent condition, Bellevue is a very unique and attractive boat. (Many Dyer 29's have large engine boxes that dominate the cockpit area)
Third, the cabin design and profile on Bellevue is raised giving her more head room below and larger windows to let in more natural light and added ventilation.
The rest of the boat layout is pretty standard Dyer 29. A swim platform has been added with a swim ladder centerline. There is a hand made teak bench along the back of the cockpit which allows access to the steering system below. a deck wash faucet on port. Comfortable helm and companion seats with the helm on starboard. Large isinglass side curtains which can be opened up for more ventilation or closed to protect you from the outside environment.
There's a companion way door and cover that open slightly to port leading into the cabin. Galley on port, Vee berth forward, and head with sink and retracting shower head on the starboard side. Everything is in good condition.
