Pros
Spacious Layout: The trimaran design provides ample deck space and comfortable accommodations, ideal for extended cruising and entertaining.
Speed and Performance: With its lightweight construction and multihull design, the Tri-Kat 60 delivers impressive speed and stability, especially in offshore conditions.
Shallow Draft: The relatively shallow draft allows access to shallower anchorages and coastal cruising areas that deeper keel boats cannot reach.
Stability: The wide beam and multiple hulls offer excellent stability, reducing heeling and enhancing onboard comfort.
Custom Build: Being a custom vessel, it often includes tailored features and high-quality craftsmanship to suit owner preferences.
Cons
Docking and Storage: The wide beam can make docking and marina berthing more challenging and potentially more expensive due to space requirements.
Complex Maintenance: The multihull structure, including crossbeams and additional hulls, can require more maintenance and inspection compared to monohulls.
Resale Market: Custom trimarans have a more niche market, which might affect resale value and the speed of sale.
Cost: Initial purchase price and upkeep can be higher given the specialized design and custom features.
