This boathouse has a well that measures 37'8" long x 12' 6" wide, with a remote controlled overhead door that has as opening of 17" high and 15'6" wide. The walks on the sides of the well are a very generous 6' 6". Even with the built in work benches and cabinets, there is generous amounts of space for moving around and accessing your boat.
The living area of approximately 500 sq. ft. with a loft offers a very convenient one-bedroom apartment with one bath, and a full kitchen with side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, and electric cooktop. A passthrough from the kitchen to the dining area ensures you're always connected to the action when entertaining.
It features electric wall heaters throughout, and in the living room there's a pellet stove that's yet to be used, but functional. Recessed lighting in the living area was all redone around 10 year ago and the electrical panel updated.
Some of the furnishings, like dining table & chairs, sofa, credenza, computer table and loft bed will remain. The attached workbench and cabinets in the boatwell will also stay. All appliances stay with the boathouse.
The stringers were replaced around 10 years ago.
Located on the Multnomah Channel, at the quiet Wapato Moorage that features great neighbors and a wonderful community with ample parking and even electric vehicle charging stations. Unlike a yacht club, membership is not required. The slip is transferable and can be leased on a month-to-month basis or even purchased directly from the association if desired. You could even easily relocate this boathouse to your preferred location if that suits you better.
Recently, the outside was pressure washed, the interior was decluttered, and some repairs were made in preparation for the sale.
