This is Hull #27
The venerable Corsair F-27 Sport Cruiser. Easy launching, shoal draft, fingertip control on the helm, and speeds that will make you the envy of your monohull friends.
This F-27 has a carbon rotating mast, a high-aspect carbon rudder with a lightweight carbon tiller, and a full suit of carbon sails. A previous owner successfully campainged her on the New England Multihull Association (NEMA) racing ciruit and she won the season trophy twice.
If you're looking for a light but well built F-27, this is it. At the time (1987), the F-27 was considered a revolutionary design. These early examples were carefully built to be both light and strong.
