This 2009 38' Contender Express was repowered in June 2016 with triple 350HP Yamaha FS engines, currently at 1008 hours. The boat has been maintained by a certified dealer since purchased by the current owner in 2019.  All windshield gaskets were replaced in 2022. The helm deck and cabin sides were re-painted with Awlgrip in 2022. The entire canvas enclosure was replaced in 2020.  The 2009 38' Contender Express boasts a comprehensive Furuno TZ touch electronics package, a custom tuna tower, bow thruster, Release Marine rocket launcher, underwater lights, KVH satellite TV, 2023 diesel generator, custom front V-birth with under storage, 3 radios (2 at the helm and 1 on tuna tower) and helm air conditioning.
