82' Shrimp Boat with IQF freezer, rigging and aluminum drag boards included, 21' x 27' working deck. Caterpillar 3408 power.
Commercial Shrimp Boat Opportunity! Add the boat to your fleet or start a new venture. This 82' steel Shrimp Boat is currently in use as a commercial shrimper under its USCG Fishery endorsement. The sellers have owned and managed the boat for about 20 years shrimping the Gulf of Mexico.
The boat produces $160,000 in annual revenue for the owners. A single haul in May of 2025 produced about $35,000.

The working deck of this boat is 27' from the stern to the winches. The aftmost deck is 21' wide by 18' to the containment deck. The decks are steel, the containment barrier is stainless steel, and the gunwale rails are stainless steel. The boat's USCG NRT is rated for 56 tons.
On the business end of the ship, the brine box is 8' x 4' x 3.5'. Below the brine box is the hatch to the IQF freezing unit which holds an estimated 40,000 lbs of catch. Net and outrigger operations are managed by the PTO-driven McElroy double winch and the electric trynet winch. The owner recently added four custom aluminum drag boards, see photos.
The pilothouse incorporates a 15' x 12' galley with U-shaped seating for the whole crew. There is a stove, refrigerator, freezer, sinks, and microwave that are installed and in use.
Behind the galley are two separate bunkrooms with 4 total bunks and a head with a shower between them.
The bridge looks over an open foredeck with access to the forward bollard, freshwater fill, and anchor. On the bridge are Furuno radar, VHF communications, a hailing unit, and an autopilot. The certified 6-person liferaft is on the pilothouse roof.
The ship is powered by a Caterpillar 3408 diesel engine which also powers the PTO-driven McElroy winches. Available fuel is 10,000 gallons.
