The Golden Wave 42 was designed by Bob Perry and built by Golden Wave, a subsidiary of Cheoy Lee Ship Yards. It is roomy, as one would expect of a 42-footer. The center cockpit has plenty of seating for the whole family.

Condition detail
This boat is in need of some repairs but is a great candidate for a redo and a fresh start. The teak on the deck requires attention but it is all there and serviceable.
All gelcoat is crazed and starting to peel at the thru-hulls and should be addressed along with a deep gouge on the starboard side hull just under the gunnel.
There has been extensive water intrusion in the cabin and the bulkheads show delamination. The rest of the woodwork seems to be in fair condition.
The engine looks good with very low hours. This is reported to have been in good working condition when the boat was put into storage.
Overall, this is a solid boat that requires TLC to get her back to her former glory. It is being offered "As is, Where is"
