This is a 2017 Chaparral Vortex 243 VRX. It is powered by twin Rotax 4-TEC engines and jet drives putting out 250 horsepower each. This boat is in absolutely beautiful condition.
An enclosed head is a welcome plus on long-distance jaunts. She can accommodate 12 people, thanks to the U-shaped seating that wraps around the cockpit, which is brought out right to the hull sides for more room.
The observer seat is reversible by moving the seatback fore and aft. This allows it to serve as either a forward facing or aft facing seat. Underneath the bench seats are storage to one side and a carry-on cooler to the other.
